A group of men damaged a taxi after the driver refused to take them as passengers.
The seven males approached a taxi at the junction of Swan Street and Station Road asking for a lift home but the taxi was a six seater so the driver refused.
The men became abusive and aggressive when the taxi stopped on Alderley Road just after 3am on Saturday, 18th August. They opened the rear doors of the taxi, stealing a headrest and damaging a seat before running off towards Manchester Road.
