Police have released images of a man they would like to speak to in connection with criminal damage in Wilmslow.

Footage uploaded to YouTube in May this year shows a man attempting to climb on top of a bus shelter in Green Lane.

Once on top of the bus stop he drops his trousers and jumps up and down before falling through the roof of the shelter causing £560 worth of damage.

Anyone who recognises the man, believed to be in his early 20s, should contact PC Jo Hooper at Wilmslow Neighbourhood Policing Unit on 101 quoting occurrence number 0712151016.

Alternatively information can be given anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

I presume the Police have checked local hospital admissions around the time damage occured? The "offender" took quite a fall and if he was uninjured he was fortunate!

I do hope he WAS injured and that he gets caught. Some community service would be in order!

Bit harsh that you want him injured, it's not as if he has inflicted his idiocy on other people.

I hope he is caught as he should make right what he has done, I think payment and the embarrassment of the video will be sufficient punishment!

Presumably it could be traced through the person who filmed and encouraged the incident and then posted it to his Youtube account
