The Charity Duck Derby, held as part of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations in The Carrs, has raised £800 for charity.
Hundreds of ducks raced along the River Bollin on Monday 4th June, as part of the community 'Picnic in the Park' event.
Cheques for £200 each have been distributed to the 4 nominated charities; the Humane Education Society (Wilmslow Animal Sanctuary), Wilmslow Dean Round Table, the Princes Trust and Friends of the Carrs who will use the money to help with their Japanese Knotweed eradication project.
Organiser Dave Cash said "I would like to acknowledge the practical support provided by the Round Table and Animal Sanctuary and donations from race and spot prize sponsors."
