Burglars have been disturbed whilst breaking into a home in the Brown Lane area of Wilmslow.
In the early hours of this morning offenders smashed the glass in a patio door and climbed into the property. They then went upstairs where the owner heard them talking.
When they realised they had been heard they ran from the house via the front door without taking anything with them.
