The family of Alexander Anderson who died following a collision on the A523 at Rudyard near Leek on Wednesday 6th June, have issued a statement.
Mr and Mrs Anderson said: "Alex was a young man who lived life to the full and was very close to all family members. It has been a devastating loss to the family and we request our privacy is respected at this difficult time."
Alexander Anderson, 17, of Torkington Road, was driving a blue Volkswagen Golf when it collided with a Mercedes HGV at about 2.45pm on Wednesday. Sadly he died at the scene of the accident.
Specially trained officers are supporting his family at this difficult time.
