All residents are invited to attend the Annual Town Meeting which will be held at Wilmslow Parish Hall on Monday, 28th May.

The Annual Town Meeting is not a council meeting but a meeting of the residents of the town, providing an opportunity for resident to put questions and express their views about issues affecting Wilmslow.

The meeting will commence at 7pm with a report from the Chairman of the Town Council followed by reports from Town Council committees.

All those present will be asked for their name and address when speaking and only registered local electors may speak unless the meeting agrees otherwise.

See our events calendar for the meeting agenda.

This is the first time the Town Council have had to justify expenditure and their business record to Wilmslow precept payers (shareholders) at a Town AGM. Whilst it is chaired by a town councillor, it is a meeting for Wilmslow residents, to raise matters of concern. Hopefully not just a re-run of the Vision, Greenbelt and the Moor Lane Gypsy site debates, but pehaps discuss matters relating to ongoing WTC initiatives. eg Christmas lights, town clean-up, job club, speed indicator display locations, employing a part time Town Centre manager, the Christmas market format, regeneration of town etc. It will be another 12 months before the next Town AGM and a public opportunity to 'inform' the Council.

All Agendas & Minutes of previous full Council & Committe meetings are available on the WTC website.
