Law Student Award 2011

Elliott Woods, a Year 12 student at Wilmslow High School, has been named winner of the "Law Student of the Year" award by local law firm, Chafes Solicitors LLP.

His teachers decided to nominate Elliott for the prize because he scored full marks in his January examination and consistently produces high quality work.

Elliott won £50 worth of book vouchers as well as a week's work experience at Chafes' Alderley Edge office.

Elliot said "I am delighted to win this award. I am keen to pursue a career within legal services and the work experience I have done at Chafes has been extremely helpful."

Jon Roberts, Managing Partner at Chafes presented Elliott with his prize and added "We are really pleased to support Wilmslow High School in this way. Elliott is obviously an outstanding student and, as a local company, we are keen to help encourage talented students as much as possible."
