Wilmslow Town’s juniors start their cup runs

The U10’s led the way with cup matches this weekend both progressing to the next round.  The U10 Jaguars travelled to Ashton on Mersey where they hoped to build on their success last week. They came away with a 4 - 0 win thanks to a brace of goals each from Cvetkovic and Lowe.

The U10 Cougars entertained local rivals Wilmslow Sports for another of the clubs derby games. With a hat trick for Watts and a further goal from Whittleworth Town now have a fixture in the next round to look forward to.

The U11 Panthers continued their recent run of good form and had Boyd, McAndry and Paton on the score sheet in the 3 - 1 win over Urmston Town. It took until the last minute of the game for Hundeyin to complete his hat trick and gain a 3 - 2 win for the U12 Cougars against AFC Partington.

The U14’s maintained their push for top spot in their league when they entertained Oswald Road, notching up 8 with only 1 in reply. Contributing to the score were Boyle (5), A Jackson (2) and B Jackson.

The more senior teams at Wilmslow Town are both currently top of their respective leagues and wins this weekend keep them there. The U15’s travelled to Moorside Rangers where a hat trick from Storey and further goals from Gardner, Pindar and Swindells saw them 6 - 3 winners. The U16’s entertained Oswald Road and maintained their 100% record thanks to McBride (2) and Worthington in their 3 - 2 win.

With no league fixture this weekend the U9 Jaguars set a club record with a 22 - 0 win in a friendly against Mountifield Rovers. With four hat tricks, from McEwen-Patterson (5), Williams (4), Hayhurst (3), and Murison(3), keeping the scorer busy and other goals from Maguire (2), Vitale (2), Devine, Horton and White this was a confident performance from the whole team.
