Sport and art collided in a colourful way across Cheshire East on Sunday, October 9th.
The annual Big Draw Event saw three professional artists based at leisure centres in Wilmslow, Macclesfield and Congleton helping sport and art lovers alike to make a special piece of community art.
In Wilmslow, Environmental artist Lesley Martin worked with Cheshire Dance to create sand pictures from footsteps and sports actions.
The Big Draw is an international initiative that was set up in 2000, which aims to get people drawing in museums, art galleries and any community venues in new and enjoyable ways.
The three events were organised by Cheshire East's Arts, Heritage and Museums service working in partnership with the leisure service.
Councillor Andrew Knowles, Cabinet member with responsibility for health and wellbeing, said: "The three events were a big success: more than 150 people took part with plenty of spectators.
"The artists all came up with original ideas for their pieces which were fun for people to take part in."
