It would appear the building is in Greater Manchester. Surely if events taking place regularly are causing such serious issues then any “licence” to operate should be suspended. Don’t hold your breath and I am expecting a knock on the door…..

It's very dangerous and the council and the police are allowing this to continue. It's really unacceptable

The question that should really be addressed is who/what authority approved planning permission and whether or not they even bothered to carry out an impact assessment.
I can say for certain that it wasn't their police officers that turned up on Friday.....was it?
For similar reasons why is it that whilst the majority of the Stanley Green estate is within the boundary of CEC, a monstrosity of a huge new warehousing 'block' was built on the site (which is wholly to the south of the A555) of a previous 2-story relatively unobtrusive office facility (the land coverage/building capacity must be 6 perhaps 7 times the size of the structure it replaced) - this new building (as yet unoccupied/non-operational) dwarfs every other structure on the estate and even towers many many metres above the A555/A34 flyover. It will generate a huge increase in size and volume of movement of the vehicles using it - impact on the area, I'll let any reader make a guess but who/what authority approved planning (I honestly don't know but I can make a very good guess). Stanley Green was always intended to be a "light' industrial zone which has morphed into mixed commercial/retail/industrial but none the less still identifiable as 'light' - until the behemoth warehouse sprang up.

John, Andy & Simon have verbalised genuine concerns with which many, including myself, will concur. However, I guarantee that we will be ignored & minimised with the expected gas-lighting adjectives from the usual crew. Shoe on other foot springs to mind.

Visited the car wash opposite Friday afternoon. Parked cars had moved away from A34 onto adjacent roads, verges and 1/2 on pavements.
Must have been opportunities to issue FPN’s but will that be a sufficient deterrent?
It’s only once a week and maybe now it will be less of an issue.
