Over 100 constituents from the local area along with Tatton candidates: Nigel Hennerley (Green), Ryan Jude (Labour), Esther McVey (Conservatives) & Jonathan Smith (Liberal democrats) attended the NHS /Health hustings on Sunday 23rd June at Wilmslow Parish Hall.

Over 50 questions were submitted in advance, from which a number of questions covering a broad range of topics were selected. These included GP funding, primary care, NHS dental care, ambulance delays, social care, neurodiversity, cancer waiting lists and gender identity.

The event was live-streamed on Facebook (starts 25 minutes in).

Dr Paddy Kearns, a GP from Knutsford Medical Practice who chaired the hustings, said "The attendance and interest in the topic show how much our residents value the NHS and their GP surgeries and how concerned they are about the ongoing threats to their viability."

Jenny Pepper, Chair of Handforth Health Centre Patients Participation Group who organised the event said "It was good to hear from one candidate that it had been the most enjoyable hustings to date, but also the most challenging because of the wide range of topics covered."
