Chancellor of the Exchequer opens new office in Alderley Park

Royal London House, the new office of mutual insurer Royal London, has been officially opened in Alderley Park today by Chancellor of the Exchequer, The Right Honourable Rishi Sunak MP.

Around 2,200 Royal London employees will be based in the new office after relocating from Wilmslow.

Kevin Parry OBE, Chairman of Royal London, said "I am thrilled to be opening Royal London House after four years of hard work and collaboration across the business. Inclusivity has been central to the design of the building to ensure we provide a positive workplace experience.

"It is wonderful to see so many people safely back in an office environment, creating the energy you only achieve by being in the same place. Royal London House is a strong representation of the purpose-driven modern mutual we are today, while maintaining our strong ties to the North West, which date back over 160 years."

Chancellor of the Exchequer, The Right Honourable Rishi Sunak MP said "I am delighted to open Royal London House which is a great example of how growing companies can choose to upgrade existing structures sustainably, while continuing to support local communities."
