A burglary occurred on Gorsey Road in Wilmslow at approximately 11.30pm on 16th July 2021.
Offenders burned the lock on rear patio doors before entering the property and stealing a hoover. They were prevented from accessing the rest of the house by internal locks on doors. It is believed they may have been targeting the keys for a car.
A police spokesperson said "The offenders are believed to be two young males wearing dark clothing, including hoodies and tracksuit bottoms. They left College Close at high speed in a dark-coloured vehicle, possibly an Audi or BMW that may have headed towards Hawthorn Lane.
