Revised plans for development of five houses on Adlington Road

Revised plans have been submitted to replace an existing dwelling on the northern side of Adlington Road with a development of five houses.

Swailes Homes Ltd are seeking permission to demolish a large detached house, which was originally two properties, at 35-37 Adlington Road and erect 5 new homes on the 0.36 hectare site, using part of the rear garden of 33 Adlington Road.

The existing house would be replaced with three detached houses with 5 bedrooms each and two semi-detached dwellings with 3 bedrooms.

The semi-detached dwellings will be located to the south of the site, with a parking court providing 4 spaces, whilst the northern portion of the site will be occupied with three detached dwellings, with double garages and two parking spaces each.

The original scheme for eight houses was submitted in May 2020 but the application was withdrawn in July 2020.

The application site adjoins the Bollin Park residential development which was granted planning permission for 204 dwellings in October 2014.

The plans can be viewed on the Cheshire East Planning Portal by searching for reference 20/4564M.
