Police have attended after reports of a Shire horse which was found running free on Holly Lane in Styal earlier this evening (Saturday, 21st September).
The horse has been contained in a field by Lode Hill Farm which does have a public right of way path in so police are urging people to avoid if walking in the area.
A police spokesperson said " We are unsure of who it belongs too. It has a white blaze down its nose and white feet, if you know the owner please contact 101 quoting reference number IML-519287."
