At around 8.10pm Firefighters were called to a report of a fire involving a combine harvester at a farm in Burleyhurst Lane, Wilmslow on Friday, 24th August.
Two crews, one from Wilmslow and one from Manchester, arrived at around 8.10pm and discovered that the fire involved its engine compartment.
Firefighters extinguished the fire with a hose reel jet and were in attendance for around half-an-hour.
