Plans to replace detached houses with apartment block

Plans have been submitted to demolish two large detached houses and replace them with an apartment block.

M J Regan Properties is proposing to demolish 19 and 21 Holly Road South along with outbuildings and construct a three-storey building consisting of 12 two-bedroom apartments. The scheme also includes parking for 24 cars at the rear and a new access for vehicles an pedestrians onto Holly Road South.

The site forms a corner plot at the junction of Holly Road South and Alderley Road and comprises of two large detached dwellings set in substantial grounds.

The plans can be viewed on the Cheshire East Council planning portal by searching for planning reference 19/2712M.

More apartments intended to profit from the retirement market. The Kings Arms roundabout is virtually surrounded by similar recent developments. Not the headline image for a town looking to be dynamic and attractive across the adult age spectrum.
