Two men arrested in connected with Wilmslow house fire

Two men from Wilmslow have been arrested in relation to a suspected arson attack on Friday, 12th October.

One fire engine from Wilmslow and one from Stockport were called to a fire at a house on Hazelwood Road at 9.25pm. 

The fire involving a front door, which is believed to have been started deliberately, was out on arrival and all persons were accounted for.

Firefighters were in attendance for around an hour and used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots and a hose reel jet to dampen down the areas affected by the fire to make sure they were safe.
