Police are appealing for witnesses after a section of land was damaged at Lindow Common.
PC Lesley Long said "On the last weekend of July there was a short spate of criminal damage to the scrub by unknown offenders."
If anybody has seen or heard of anyone acting in a suspicious manner during that time please contact PC 5137 Long at Macclesfield police station on 101.
