Police are appealing for information following three reports of a man acting suspiciously in the Wilmslow area.
A police spokesperson "On Monday 1st and Tuesday 2nd August at around 10.30am people reported seeing a man wearing women's underwear and high heels in the Adlington Road and Styal Road area of the town."
The man is described as white, approximately early 30s with short dark hair. On each occasion police made a search of the area but the man had gone.
Sgt Angela Coppock said: "The man hasn't approached anyone but did cause alarm to those who saw him, especially the woman who was on her own jogging in the woods at the time.
"We have been patrolling the area and have not had any further reports, but I would urge anyone who has any information on this man or sees him to contact us on 101 quoting incident number 277 of 2 August 2016.
"Information can also be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
