wilmsowabove

Chris Clarke of Lacey Green, Wilmslow has kindly sent us the above video taken above Wilmslow and the neighbouring area.

The coverage was taken using his drone and show the River Dean, Lacey Green, the town centre, the Carrs, St Bartholomews Church and further afield.

Chris said "Our Village is beautiful, when you take some time to stop and look. Surrounded by greenery, rivers and fields. Take a trip with us as we fly over Wilmslow."

This is fantastic and is the reason we need to preserve our green belt !

Great pictures, but your readers really need to understand rules regarding drone flying, distance from buildings and invasion of privacy by overflying residential areas and private gardens. CAA code states: "Drones fitted with cameras must not be flown: within 50 metres of people, vehicles, buildings or structures. Also Wilmslow Rugby Club is on the edge of Manchester Airport no fly zone. Information Commissioner office can advise on privacy rules.

Chris- that is fabulous. I am surprised that developers have not tried to use it for marketing purposes. You should contact Redrow at Woodford. If they wanted one think of the views that that one would show, with the hills in the distance. Already know several people who are considering vacating Wilmslow for what Woodford has to offer.
