I use this car park on occasion and several times now there have been kids on skateboards whizzing up and down the floors. Time something was done about them.

We need to give them an area where they can do this safely. Kids should be encouraged to be active. While litter picking in the Carrs last year I met a group of youngsters who had tried to set up a skateboard area but failed. They also pointed out to me that the football goalposts provided in the Carrs are so close to the river that the ball goes in there all the time. Meanwhile we need to stop all age groups from thinking it is ok just to leave their litter for someone else to clear up.

I agree Sally there wasn't enough to do in this area when I grew up and it's no better now. The leisure centre is in desperate need of some investment and there needs to be more for older kids to do as well.

That said this car park is a nuisance for several reasons which I have described at length to the Council over the last 8 years! It's time the Council took the necessary action to correct this I am awaiting a full response from my last complaint so heres hoping.

Naughty naughty children. Far better they hang around a park knocking back nicked booze, skinning up, sniffing glue etc.

Unfortunately it's very Wilmslow... Ignore people causing real problems in the town and fixate on some kids doing no real harm.
