Professionally trained musicians from Wilmslow are collaborating for the first time to perform a free afternoon concert this week.
Singer Helen Blake will be accompanied by regular performer at St Bartholomew's Church, Tony Hughes, on Sunday 18th January.
Angela McPake explained "A varied programme is promised taking us from show music to classical standards with the odd surprise thrown in - all in little more than an hour. It promises to provide something for virtually everyone!"
Also on the programme is 14-year-old pianist, Chris Hughes who will be playing pieces by Rachmaninoff, Bridge and Beethoven. Having won a number of classes at local festivals, Chris is being seen more and more on the local concert stage.
'A Musical Winter Warmer' starts at 3pm and is free, though there is a retiring collection to raise money for the Church's Musical Scholarship funds.
