Hollywood themed fashion show brings a touch of glamour

Royles Jaguar hosted a fabulous fashion show on Thursday, 9th October, which proved a very glamorous affair.

Guests were greeted with a red carpet welcome, valet parking, champagne and canapés at The Hollywood Walk of Fame event in aid of The Kirsty Club.

Brave fundraiser Kirsty Howard, who recently celebrated her 19th birthday and was given the Outstanding Achievement Award by the Variety Club, was the guest of honour.

Kirsty is a truly inspirational girl who battles her own illness on a daily basis. She was born with her heart back to front, which is an exceptionally rare condition which requires extensive treatment. In February 1999, she was given only six weeks to live, but defied the odds.

Dressed in black and white to tie in with the movie theme, guests were entertained by soprano singer Scarlett Quigley and Shirley Bassey impersonator Paula Randell.

The fashion show featured glamorous collections from Zeynep Kartal and Ayla Rose Lingerie. There was also a mini auction, raffle and lots of shopping opportunities with stalls from a variety of local businesses.

Following the event at the Royles Jaguar car showroom, guests moved on to Revolution Bar to continue the party.

The Kirsty Club is fundraising to help build an extension and a brighter future for Francis House Children's Hospice in Manchester where Kirsty receives care.
