A charity shop has closed after 16 years of trading on Grove Street.
Scope, which exists to make this country a place where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else, closed their Wilmslow branch on Saturday, 20th September.
Brian Brady, Northern Divisional Manager, Scope Retail, said: "We recently made the decision to close our Wilmslow charity shop.
"Unfortunately a steady decline in sales combined with the cost of renting the property meant that it was no longer profitable.
"The shop opened in 1998 and we are grateful to the local community and the volunteers and staff who supported it over its 16 years of trading."
The nearest Scope branches can be found in Altrincham and Macclesfield.

Here's what readers have had to say so far. Why not add your thoughts below.
I remember when Wilmslow was a really bustling town and a pleasure to shop at but now it's a shambles, high rates and poor parking are mostly to blame for this sad deterioration, when is the plug going to be pulled to stop this rot.
I wait to see if Barry's large retail group materialises and what it offers. Will it survive 16 years in Wilmslow?
Any suggestions? Lidl, Aldi, Cash Convertors?
