Moor Lane to close for resurfacing

test3

Moor Lane will be closed for 8 days, between South Oak Lane and its junction with Cumber Road, to enable Cheshire East Council Highways to carry out resurfacing works.

It is anticipated that the work will be carried out between Tuesday 27th May and Thursday 5th June on weekdays only - between the hours of 8am and 5pm.

The alternative diversion route will be via South Oak Lane, Gravel Lane and Cumber Road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles and residents will be maintained where possible.

It has been a long wait. My car and bicycle will feel better for it.

Perhaps they could pop around the corner and finish Northward Road. Any reason why it was surfaced in patchwork?

Should be a laugh diverting down South Oak Lane, I think I'll set-up a wing mirror repair shop at the end of the lane.
