Occupation: Owner of Jackson's fish and chip shop.
Marital status: Married to Rosemary for 46 years.
Any children? Three - Paul, Victoria and Robert.
Hobbies and interests? Gardening, reading and spending time with family the children and grandchildren.
Where do you live? Wilmslow.
How long have you lived in Wilmslow? All my life.
How long have you worked in Wilmslow? 40 years.
What do you most like about living in Wilmslow? It is still a village.
What changes/improvements would you like to see in Wilmslow?
I'm happy with Wilmslow but I would like to see Grove Street de-pedestrianised as I think it bring some individuality back in the village.
What have been the biggest changes to Wilmslow since you have been here? The pedestrianisation of Grove Street.
What do you miss about the town that has since gone?
The loss of the two cinemas and there are fewer small individual shops.
If there is one thing about Wilmslow you could eliminate what would it be? Parking charges and issues.
Describe Wilmslow in 3 words? The best village.
What is your favourite way to spend a day out and about in Wilmslow or the surrounding area?
Just being here with family and friends, enjoying the proximity of the beautiful countryside with our village amenities.
What is the most underrated thing about Wilmslow? My fish and chip shop!!!
What are the main myths about Wilmslow? That only the rich live here.
If you didn't live in Wilmslow where would you want to move to? The Lakes.
