Mobberley Road closed this weekend for gas works

Mobberley Road will be closed this weekend to enable gas main works to be carried out across the junction of the A538 Altrincham Road.

It will be closed from its junction with A538 Altrincham Road to its junction with Morley Green Road.

Work was initially planned to take place on Saturday 9th until Sunday 10th March but is now scheduled for Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th March.

The alternative route during the closure will be via; the A538 Altrincham Road and Morley Green Road.

Pedestrian access will be maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles and residents.

As far as I know this didn't happen. I used this stretch of road both days so unless the work was carried out quickly after I'd passed on either day, it wasn't carried out at all.
