Station Road will be closed this weekend to enable essential maintenance works to be carried out on the Railway Bridge.
It will be shut from its junction with Macclesfield Road to its junction with Manchester Road, from 10pm on Saturday, 24th November, to 6am on Sunday 25th.
The alternative route during the closure will be via Macclesfield Road, Hough Lane, Prestbury Road, A34 Handforth Bypass, Mill Street, Manchester Road and Station Road.
Access for pedestrians, emergency vehicles and residents will be maintained at all times.
