A fire involving seven wheelie bins has damaged two cars in Handforth.
Fire crews were called to the incident at 4.45am this morning at Beaumont Court on Clay Lane following reports that several wheelie bins were alight.
They discovered a fire involving seven wheelie bins and three fence panels which had caused heat damage to two adjacent cars.
One fire engine attended from Wilmslow and a hose tell jet was used to extinguish the fire.
Police were also in attendance and are investigating whether the fire was started deliberately.
