Agenda for October Town Council meeting

The Community and Order Committee of Wilmslow Town Council will meet at 7pm on Monday, 17th October, which members of the press and public are welcome to attend.

The committee are meeting to consider how the Queen's Diamond Jubilee should be marked as well as the installation and switching on of Christmas Lights.

This will be followed by a meeting of the full council at which David McGifford, Economic Regeneration Officer at Cheshire East Council, will give a presentation about economic regeneration opportunities in the town and Robert Sawyer, from Cycle Wilmslow, will give a short presentation on the work and aspirations of the group.

Attached is a copy of the agenda providing details on all the issues to be considered, which include; hosting a Civil Service, the appointment of an Assistant Town Clerk and sponsorship of sculptures around the town in partnership with Incredible-Edible Wilmslow.

Both meetings will be held at the Oakenclough Centre on Colshaw Drive.
