Wilmslow residents are being urged to take their cars to the fire station rather than the carwash on Saturday, 17th September, as Wilmslow Fire Station is hosting a charity car wash to raise as much money as possible for The Fire Fighters Charity.
The firefighters will be working alongside the cadets to try and break their record of raising £2000 for a very worthwhile charity.
The charity was set up in 2008 and is the UK's leading provider of services that enhance quality of life for serving and retired fire service personnel and their families. They are available for all members of the fire service community during times of need, assisting thousands of individuals every year by providing pioneering treatment and support services.
The charity car wash, sponsored by Autoglym who will be providing car wash and wax, will take place on Saturday 17th September, between 10.30am and 4pm at Wilmslow Fire Station.
