Teen star to sing at Wilmslow's big party

Party in the Park is coming to Wilmslow this weekend offering a fun day out for all the family and a performance from Hatty Keane who is destined to be a big star.

The teen sensation's natural talent and soulful voice won her second place out of 9000 acts in the 2010 Open Mic UK competition. Since then she has built an extensive fan base, played in front of a 2000 people at the O2 in London and will be releasing her first single on September 12th.

Presented by Imagine FM, the summer music festival will take place on Sunday, 28th August, at Wilmslow High School raising funds for the British Red Cross.

Organiser Vicky Jackson said "It's a chance to dig out your picnic blankets, sit back and relax, and enjoy the very best in local talent, bands, singers and dance acts as well as the Imagine FM roadshow."

To keep the kids entertained there will be an adventure playground, bouncy castles, rides, games and Peppa Pig will be popping along to say hi.

Refreshments will be available from the beach bar, BBQ and hog roast and there will also be a selection of art and craft stalls.

Party in the Park will take place at Wilmslow High School playing fields from 10am until 5pm. Entrance is £3 for adults and £1 for under 12's.
