A former Coronation Street actor will be bringing Grease to Wilmslow next month with his new drama class.

Mark Hallett is calling all budding Pink Ladies and Danny Zucos to join his one week course which will involve plenty of singing, dancing and acting, and culminate in a final performance to family and friends on the Friday.

Mark, who played Boris the butcher in Corrie, has been a professional actor for 20 years and runs drama classes in various schools around the Wilmslow area. He has also had roles in Waterloo Road, Shameless and No Angels, as well as appearing in adverts for Budweiser, MacDonald's, William Hill and Seven Seas.

He said "Im really looking forward to doing Grease, it has always been a favourite of mine and is still as popular now as it was then.

"I got chatting to a good friend of mine called Kitty Simpson who is also an actor, as well as teaching drama in primary schools, and she is going to be working with me on this project.

"It should be a fun week and no experience is necessary."

The course is aimed at 7 to 11 year olds and will run from Monday 8th August until Friday 12th August at Dean Row Village Hall.

For more info or to make a booking email Mark Hallett or leave a message on the office land line 0161 477 2879.
