Our 4th community website goes live

We are delighted to announce the launch of knutsford.com, our 4th local community website, which we hope will appeal to anyone that lives, works, or socialises in Knutsford.

It is over 2 years since we launched our first site alderleyedge.com and 18 months since we launched wilmslow.co.uk - both of which are now firmly established and reach a very significant local audience.

We very much hope we can emulate the success of alderleyedge.com, prestbury.com and wilmslow.co.uk with this new Knutsford website. There will be some overlap between knutsford.com and our other websites in regard to local events and the local business directory because these are shared across the network. However, we very much see these as separate websites, with each one having a great deal of unique content that will respect and serve each distinct community.

By expanding the area we cover this means that both the business directory and events calendar will be more comprehensive and useful to readers of wilmslow.co.uk as well as those who use our wilmslow.co.uk iPhone app - which can be downloaded for free from the iTunes app store.

I'm not quite sure how I am going to find enough hours in the day to research, write, edit, attend events and meetings, take photographs and answer all the emails but I'm sure I'll find a way! If you have any friends or colleagues that would be interested in knutsford.com then please do help spread the word, it would be much appreciated.

We would like to thank all our readers for taking the time to visit wilmslow.co.uk, we know many of you do so on a daily basis. We want wilmslow.co.uk to serve the community as best it can so we welcome your views. If you like the website please do tell all your local friends and contacts about wilmslow.co.uk - the more people who use the website the better the service to the community will be.

If you are not already registered, it only takes a minute and is free so become a member to receive our weekly newsletters and get involved in the wilmslow.co.uk community.

We produce a separate weekly newsletter for each site, so if you are a registered member of wilmslow.co.uk and wish to receive any of the others you just need to log in and click on Your Account to select which newsletters you wish to receive.
