An Inquest for identification has been opened and adjourned by the Cheshire Coroner into the death of a Newcastle man at a Wilmslow Building Site.
The deceased has been named as Andrew Dytiche, 22 years of age, of Hollisnhead Avenue, Newcastle, Staffs.
Mr Dytiche was a worker on a building site in Torkington Road, Wilmslow when a significant number of bricks fell upon him. He was taken by ambulance to Wythenshawe Hospital, but died from crushing injuries later the same day. The incident, which occurred at 2.43pm on Friday 7 January has been reported to the Health and Safety Executive. A file is being prepared for the Coroner by Cheshire Police.
