Two people were seen acting suspiciously in the early hours of the morning following an attempted burglary in Wilmslow.
In a 20-minute period, between approximately 00:00 and 00:20 on 30th May 2025, an attempted burglary took place at a house on Gravel Lane, close to the junctions with Knutsford Road and Beechway.
A police spokesperson said "Unknown offenders are believed to have jumped over a fence to enter the back garden before removing a lock to a rear door. The house alarm was activated at the time, and no access was gained to the house."
A few hours later, between 03:00 and 03:15, two people were seen in suspicious circumstances on Altrincham Road, outside Hickory's smokehouse. One person was wearing dark clothing, the other light-coloured shorts.
