Residents survey 6 x 4.jpg

Wilmslow Town Council is asking residents to complete a survey to enable them to plan for the future.

They would like to hear your views and opinions of Wilmslow Town Council and its activities.

The survey has sixteen questions and has been designed to help them better understand the priorities of Wilmslow residents and make decisions for the benefit of the community in the future.

Wilmslow Town Council is the lowest tier of Local Government for Wilmslow. Whilst Cheshire East Council manages services such as education, highways, social services, waste management and planning for Wilmslow residents, Wilmslow Town Council oversees other facilities and services that aim to contribute to the community and identity of Wilmslow, such as the town's floral planters, community grants, Wilmslow's Christmas lights and local events such as Cinema on the Carrs, the Remembrance Sunday parade and the Wilmslow Christmas lights switch-on event.

If you complete the survey it woud be apreciated if you could mention wilmslow.co.uk in the section about local news and how Wilmslow Town Council communicates.

Wilmslow Town Mayor, Councillor Tim Higgins, said, "The results of our new Residents' Survey will help us set our priorities for the next Council year, so we would really appreciate it if all residents took the time to complete the survey. Please encourage everyone else in your household to take part too.

"You can complete the survey on our website, or paper copies will be delivered to all Wilmslow residents, so please look out for it coming through your letterbox along with our latest newsletter.

"On behalf of Wilmslow Town Council, I would like to thank you in advance for taking the time to complete the survey. We look forward to receiving your responses."

The Residents' Survey can be completed until Sunday 6th October 2024. The results will be published towards the end of 2024.

Well we seem to have seen a lot more of the council and also benefitted from some of the things that they have done, hopefully they listen and carry on with their activity rather than the old lot who just cropped up every 4 years looking for a vote.
