Knitted Bible coming to Wilmslow Methodist Church

KBStable

Wilmslow Methodist Church will be hosting the Knitted Bible exhibition during the two weeks before Easter.

The Knitted Bible has been created by an enterprising team of knitters from St George's United Reform Church in Hartlepool, who have produced dozens of knitted figures and animals.

The display travels up and down the country providing the opportunity to see 35 colourful scenes depicting Bible stories, such as Noah and his ark, Daniel in the lion's den and Jonah and the whale, as well as the Christmas and Easter stories.

Christine Goddard, Church Community Support Worker, said "The organisers would love to hear from any community groups (young or not so young) who would like to come and visit during the first week of the exhibition. No booking is needed on any of the Open Days during the 2nd week."
