Handforth business burgled twice in one day

Officers are appealing for information following two separate burglaries at a business premises on Commercial Avenue, Handforth.

At around 2am on Sunday 3rd January it is believed that unknown offenders forced entry to the premises.

A large quantity of stock was taken before the offenders drove away in a large white truck with blue curtain sides towards A34.

The business was targeted again at 10pm on Sunday 3rd January. A quantity of stock was again taken. It is believed that the incidents are linked.

Officers are now keen to hear from anyone who has any information regarding the burglaries to get in touch.

Police Constable Fawcett said: "We have been following several lines of enquiry in relation to these incidents and are doing everything in our power to find those responsible.

"As part as of our investigation we are keen to hear from anyone who may have captured CCTV or dashcam footage of the offenders or the white truck to come forward.

"I am also keen to hear from anyone who may have been offered the items or may have seen something suspicious in the Commercial Avenue area around at the time of the incident."

Hi Dave - I did ask the police these questions when I received the information and they have just come back to me saying "I believe it was a beauty services related business".
