Fire crews were called to an incident involving a dog walker who got stuck up to her knees in mud in The Carrs today (Monday, 18th November).
Firefighters were called to a path near Broad Walk just before midday and used salvage sheets and a ladder as a working platform to assist the lady out successfully. She was checked over by paramedics at the scene.
