Growing popularity as a prime business location

Crown House in Wilmslow is now 75% let less than six months after 15,000 sqft become available. Two new deals with financial services providers, X-Cap Securities Ltd and Aldermore Bank leave just 5,200 sqft remaining in the 20,000 sqft office building.

London-based stockbrokers X-Cap Securities have taken the 5,105 sqft first floor at Crown House and private equity bank Aldermore have taken 5,135 sqft of office space on the second floor.

Paul McLeman, Director of Leasing at Orbit Developments said: "Three floors at Crown House became available to let in August 2009 and we have almost achieved a full tenancy with just the recently refurbished third floor remaining, which provides 5,200 sqft of air-conditioned space."

"This demonstrates our strong reputation in the market and the growing popularity of Wilmslow as a prime business location due to excellent transport links and its proximity to Stockport, Manchester City Centre and Manchester Airport."

Orbit have developed a large number of office buildings in Wilmslow over the last 30 years and have an ongoing programme of investment and development to provide a wide variety of office space.
