Lady rescued after falling down embankment in Handforth

A lady was rescued by emergency services after falling down an embankment in Handforth.

One fire engine from Wilmslow and the rope rescue unit from Knutsford attended the incident at Viewlands Drive just before 2pm on Friday, 24th March.

Wilmslow firefighters and the rope rescue unit from Knutsford used rope rescue equipment and a longboard to bring the lady, who had sustained arm injuries, up to the surface and into the care of paramedics.
