Mobberley Road will be closed from the junction with Eccups Lane to the junction with Altrincham Road on Monday 13th February.*Wednesday, 8th February. (Please see comment below, I am currently awaiting confirmation from Cheshire East Council).
The closure is necessary to enable Cheshire East Highways to carry out structural patching works
The alternative route will be via the following streets: - Burleyhurst Lane, Newton Hall Lane, Knutsford Road, Fulshaw Cross Roundabout, Alderley Road, Water Lane, Altrincham Road

Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times and access for emergency vehicles and residents will be maintained where possible.
* A Council spokesperson confirmed this morning (Monday 6th January) "The original plan was to close it on the 8th but other works in the area conflicted with our proposal.
"Information boards will be put out on site today."

We queried it as some residents have received passes to let them drive through the works to their houses during the closure, but no one on Eccups Lane received any notification at all despite it potentially being a 11km diversion to get to Wilmslow. The council said they would phone back but have not, however the date on the website has changed.
I also hope the bus company has been informed and that notices will be put up warning people of the closure.
