Firefighters were called to a car on fire on the A34 Wilmslow bypass on Tuesday, 22nd November.
One fire engine from Wilmslow attended the incident at 8.39am and used a hose reel to extinguish it.
It is believed that the fire was caused by a fault and crew made the area safe before leaving.
Police attended for traffic management while the incident was dealt with.
