New charity store takes off in Wilmslow

The North West Air Ambulance Charity launched its first combined furniture outlet and donation station, Wilmslow at Home, at Deanrow Court on Thursday, 2nd June.

Supporters will be able to purchase new and used furniture from the outlet, as well as household items, trinkets and selected clothing. Building on the success of the charity's already established home store in Lytham, the Summerfields store will be the first of its kind in the area.

The 3,800 square foot store will be open from 8:30am to 6:00pm and has created jobs for one full time and one part time manager who will be supported by 15 to 20 volunteers.

Pat Tisdale, Head of retail at the North West Air Ambulance Charity, said: "We're really excited that the new store has opened and we think it looks great. We've been keen open a new store in Cheshire, as it is a community that's at the heart of our supporter network in the North West.

"We look forward to seeing customers in store, either getting some great deals on homeware or donating their pre-loved furniture and supporting their North West Air Ambulance Charity."
