Clay Lane in Handforth will be closed this week from the junction with Wilmslow Road to the junction with Wallingford Road.
The closure is necessary to enable United Utilities to carry out works to renew a main.
It is anticipated that the works will take place from Wednesday 4th May to Sunday 8th May.
Pedestrian access to any premises situated within the temporary closure will be maintained at all times, whilst access for emergency vehicles and residents will be maintained where possible.
