A community shop and cafe in Styal has applied for planning permission to build a conservatory to replace some temporary shelters.
Earlams on Altrincham Road wishes to erect an orangery/conservatory to provide seating in inclement weather and a meeting space for various community groups in the evenings.
The business, which opened in July 2014, is a limited cooperative, funded by members of the community who have become shareholders, donations and a number of grants.
The National Trust who own the building support the plans which can be viewed on the Cheshire East Council website by searching for planning reference 15/3860M.
