To celebrate the two year anniversary of Handforth Paddock Fair there will be double the fun as organisers host events on the next two Saturdays.
Having secured funding last year they will be offering even more activities on Saturday 1st and Saturday 8th August from 11am until 4pm.
Visitors can enjoy free Punch n Judy shows, view some owls, or take a train ride. There will also be character appearances, live entertainment, a bar, art activities, children's activities and a variety of stalls.
New additions include free toddler golf, vintage ice-cream and guitar taster sessions on Saturday 8th August.
There will also be a tombola to raise money for the Handforth Community War Memorial and Friends of Stanley Hall Park will be hosting a tuck shop to aid fundraising. There will also be the opportunity to view the park plans and discuss ideas for park improvements.
Kerry Burgess said "Handforth Paddock Fair became a community investment event with an aim to showcase the community, add vibrancy to the Paddock, provide an affordable day out for the locals and provide a platform for local performers to perform at the events and opportunities for local charities and organisation to become involved and fundraise."
