
Award-winning eighteen year old Spanish pianist Eudald Buch is stopping off in Wilmslow on Sunday, 12th July, to perform at St Bartholomew's Church en route between performances in Barcelona, Salzburg and Buxton Festival.
Eudald came to England in 2013 to study piano at Chetham's School of Music, where he was this year's winner of the prestigious Chetham's concerto competition. He has won prizes in Girona Conservatoire's Chamber Music Competition, Barcelona's 'Arjau' Foundation Chamber Music Competition and the National Competition for Young Pianists. Last year he made his solo broadcast debut in a live 'In Tune' special programme for Richard Strauss's 150th anniversary on BBC Radio 3.
Eudald's recital on Sunday, 12th July is part of St Bartholomew's Summer Serenade series and begins at 3pm. Admission is free, with a retiring collection for the church's Organ Restoration Appeal.
